We are going to Israel! yes, we leave in 14 days. I do not think Bret and I have ever had a 2 week vacation since we've been married. So this will definitely be very different for us. No dogs, no chickens, no Vinnie to take care of (thank you Jessica). Just time to take in all that we've read about and dreamed about and will experience living in some day.
We've planned our trip without a travel guide. However, we've been advised and we will take that advice, to hire a guide in Palestinian territory; Bethlehem, Mt of Olives, Jericho, etc. We're staying in a luxury Waldorf Astoria FREE, thanks to a very diligent provider, my husband, who travels quite extensively and has hotel points. Then we're off to Tiberias to stay on the Sea of Galilee in a quaint villa. We will see Cesarea, Nazareth, hopefully be baptized in the Jordan on the way back and walk the roads that our Messiah walked.
Lastly, back to Jerusalem and to David's Citadel. From our Jerusalem homebase, we're going to the gulf of Achabah and into Jordan to see Petra, back through Masada and the surrounding sites if we're allowed. We absolutely cannot wait.
Hopefully I can document everyday so that you can join us on our trip. I'm not a great photographer or writer but I'm praying YHVH will inspire me to inspire you. Stay tuned......
