it's not just the Jews

This is a difficult subject for sure and not one that is easily understood.  Man has always hated others and as a result of that hatred, has hurt others.  While YHVH's people 3500 years ago were singled out through their father Abraham, hatefulness and harmfulness dates back to the very first family.

Today we visited the holocaust museum Yad Vashem.  It was truly horrific!  Any people group appointed for annihilation just because of their ethnicity is wrong in and of itself.  Man does not have the right to destroy.  Neither is it right to follow along while others destroy.  We become complicit and hardened to morality.

That is one side of the story.  Here is the other side as I read it in the Bible.  YHVH chose a people group for salvation.  Anyone else that agreed to that covenant could be included.  Simply because Israel chose to follow the One True God, made them a target.  Years into the story, Israel rebelled and YHVH forewarned what would happen.  He would send them into captivity (northern tribes) and they would be destroyed and violated, almost all of them losing their identity.

The southern tribes were just as rebellious, even worse according to YHVH.  But He did not give them the same fate.  Why?  They were to remain intact and identifiable so that our Messiah's lineage could be proven.  Judah held the Torah and the Torah in the flesh came through Judah (Jews).

In the first century, after denying the plan of our Father and denying His Messiah, YHVH destroyed Judah as well.  Yeshua told His disciples this was going to happen and it would be worse than they could even imagine.  It came to pass.  Judah did not repent of their idolatry or of their stubborn denial of Yeshua.  Jerusalem fell and the Romans utterly decimated the Jews.  Even then, as they scattered throughout Europe and Asia, they did not repent.  Their idolatry in following rabbinical laws instead of Torah has led to the most severe discipline imaginable.

Jump ahead to 20th century and we have not only idolatrous Judah but idolatrous Christianity as well.  Following the Pope, recognizing the Roman Catholic church as spiritual authority over and above the Word of God has led Christianity into the same genocide.  Following any doctrines other than the Bible has led to this same fate.  In fact, through the inquisitions, 10X the amount of torture and murder of those who refused to bow to the RCC was exacted on anyone and everyone.  All people groups in the name of religion yet certainly NOT in the name of the truth of the Bible, committed genocide and were its victims.

What we saw today in the museum is the judgment spoken about in the Bible that YHVH has brought upon Judah.  Stating that fact is not politically correct.  And that is not to say they are any different than the rest of us.  All judgment of this kind is for the same reason stated very clearly in scripture.  If the rest of us had a museum, it would be no different.  I am not hardened to Judah.  In fact, walking thorough this museum was by far one of the most emotional experiences I've had.  Tears streamed down my cheeks knowing that the message of the Bible has been so distorted and when those distortions are celebrated as correct, this kind of consequence is the result.....both for Jews and for Christians and for Muslims and for any other people group.  YHVH is not going to allow HIs Word to be slandered.  He does bring judgment down upon those who do so.  He said so in His word.

If you've followed along with anything I've shared over the past 5 years, you know that Bret and I have gone back to a Biblical faith of the first century.  Our only Bible is the one called the Old Testament, although we certainly recognize everything in the New Testament that supports the Torah and the Prophet's writings.  But NOTHING in the NT changes that word just like in the first century when no such NT even existed.  We have the same scriptures that Yeshua had, the same that Paul had and the same as every other disciple.  The covenant was still in place, is still in place and the terms are still the terms.  Jeremiah spoke of a time when the Levitical system would no longer be needed and YHVH would be our Teacher.  His new covenant has come true.  YHVH is our only Teacher and our only spiritual authority.  That authority is according to His Word.....every single jot and tittle....that He has written on our hearts.

It is Friday evening here in Israel and Sabbath is getting ready to begin.  What a nice culture to live in where almost everyone stops what they are doing to obey the 4th commandment.  Whether they are religious or secular, this city obeys.  The same cannot be said of most places in the world.  Paul has done a real number on Christians who centuries ago, twisted his meaning and obscured his obedience and the obedience of the disciples.  Yet, YHVH said this would happen as well.  He warned us to not listen to someone who would do this but we listened anyway and we abandoned our faith.  Most people today cannot see this....a veil is over their eyes.  Why?  Because they are as the RCC.  They are as the Jews.  They are as any people group who do not surrender to the words in the Bible.  The accepted disobedience and deception has become the norm and going back to a Biblical faith now is a challenge.  Most refuse to study Paul, first century culture or the words that are right there in the text explaining Paul's doctrine.  Most do not care.  Most want their comfortable Christianity that was handed to them on a platter of Roman Catholic origins.

I pray we all humble ourselves and ask our Father to make these things clear.  A holocaust is awaiting the whole world and my hope is that we are not on the wrong side!
