my new favorite jewelry....better than diamonds and pearls!

Deut 6:4 "Hear O Israel.  YHVH our God, YHVH is one!

This is called the "shema" because that is the Hebrew word for "hear."  Those squiggly characters are actually the Hebrew text for Deut 6:4.  Bret and I bought rings last year on our visit and I found this beautiful medallion last year from a NY jewelry store.  Today, we came across the nice little necklace and a GORGEOUS gold piece that I didn't buy.  Still thinking about it...............

The rest of the verse:

5Love YHVH your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.6These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.7Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.8Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.9Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Sadly, we have walked away from our Father's commandments claiming to obey them would be a curse to us.  Paul said this.........supposedly.  But upon further examination, Paul is talking about Talmud commandments of men, not the eternal Torah of our Father.

  2. The bottom pic is not the gold one that I was thinking to buy. However, they all say the same scripture from Deut. 6:4
