This is a restaurant in the jewish quarter that we found. It is called "Between the Arches". Going on downstairs is a celebration for a Brit Milah, which is the circumcision of an 8 day old male baby. It is an interesting turn of events to be confronted with the teaching of circumcision. Many believe the book of Galations proves that circumcision is no longer a valid Torah command, as well, it is used to invalidate all of Torah. However, the circumcision being argued about in the book of Galations as well as Acts 15, is "recircumcision" of an adult male after receiving the Truth. Jews believed another blood covenant must take place thereby cutting more flesh to draw blood. The whole teaching has been so misunderstood from Christianity's perspective and distorted from Jewish perspective. Judaism is idolatry as I've stated. Submitting to another blood covenant with teaching about "recircumcsion" which is not in Torah, is actually submitting and agreeing to this idolatry. That is why Paul is railing against it and claims it is "no gospel at all". That is why Titus will not submit to it. And that is why Paul says he wishes they would go the whole way and "emasculate themselves".
Torah circumcision is as much a command of our Father as baptism. But no one makes you do it. You need to be compelled to obey it just like you do baptism.
Anyway, here are the pics....sermon was free!
