One last post before heading out of Jerusalem to the countryside. We are leaving this city in a few hours to head north to Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee. We're ready to leave and take a break from all that our Father has shown us. It is a hotbed of false teaching. Men are following tradition.....just as we had done for 50 years of our lives. Why oh why do we refuse to see it? Scripture reveals the truth of Paul's writings in that he DID NOT teach gentiles to disregard the Torah but to follow it! All the 1st century Disciples followed Torah. It was not until Marcion came along and then Constantine, that mass groups of people abandoned their loyalty to the Most High to follow the laws of men. So so sad that people cannot or will not surrender.
Bret and I need a break from all of this. Yesterday, on the Temple Mount, we were confronted face to face with the deception of the enemy. He comes in all forms. He comes dressed as a Muslim but he also comes dressed as a sheep. It takes complete devotion to YHVH, a promise to listen only to Him, regardless who else is speaking, who else has written letters to churches. If we decide to abandon our loyalty to YHVH and accept the seeming contradictions of Paul without even searching the scriptures for the Truth of Paul, we've just revealed our heart of stone. We indeed, are not surrendered.
So to take a breath from all that we're seeing, I thought I would share a bit about food. Here are some pics of our meals. There is great food here; so clean tasting, so fresh. They eat lots of little dishes which are sent to the table. And their coffee is fabulous. Every morning we have espresso on the balcony in the tiny little cups set up in our hotel room. We love it!
