We are now staying at the David Citadel Hotel since returning from Tiberias. It is a very nice hotel not too far from the Waldorf. Today is the Sabbath. The elevators they designate above stop on every floor preprogrammed so that the person doesn't have to "work" to push the button. The air conditioning in every room stays preprogrammed for the same reason and cannot be manually changed. Even room keys do not work properly. This is utter nonsense.
Yeshua said, "why do you nullify the Word of YHVH for the sake of your tradition" These man made laws are simply a way for rabbis to control their followers. Which reminds me of an interesting conversation I had with a Jewish man in En Gedi. He was instructing a couple of young teenage boys on the tram back from the Dead Sea. At the end of his conversation I interjected that we should all be following Torah and nothing else....throw out all other teaching. He turned to me and told me that I could not possibly understand Torah without the rabbi's help. I responded by telling him that we need no one but the Holy Spirit to help us understand our Father and anyway, YHVH instructed Moses to "write it down". Judaism is saying that Moses was a deceiver and didn't write it all down, therefore keeping laws oral. Judaism makes Moses out to be a liar. Not sure this fact will stick with him or not.
