Seems unreal

Bret and I had a spectacular breakfast.  I'll show you the pictures in another post because it's going to require a sermon for commentary.  I swear, everywhere I look I see tradition elevated to the level of Torah.  I must speak to this but I'll save it for a later post.
We then set out for a walking tour toward the Old City.  We captured some great photos and imagined the time when the Kings of Judah defended Jerusalem against their enemies.  It is not hard to imagine this wall being rebuilt in Nehemiah's day as each man worked on their section.
Made a couple of brief acquaintances along the way.











As we walked toward the wall, we found the Jaffa gate.  It's an incredible reminder how impenetrable this city on the hill was 2500 years ago.
