David's Citadel

We had quite an adventure today and for the last several hours, I've been trying to upload videos.  Finally after they all uploaded and I composed a new post, the videos won't play.  Wish I were a computer geek.

So I'll move on and show you David's tower and citadel.  This is the large structure just inside the Jaffa Gate.  It's a fortress for sure and one of the coolest things I've ever seen.  Again, excavation underneath current floor levels reveals years and years ago, maybe even back to 1st century.
